I was the sole designer on a team of product leaders from Stanley Black & Decker, and construction engineers and leaders who work out in the field (our target customers) for a two-day guided innovation design workshop.
I helped facilitate two days of research interviews and design innovation exercises that culminated in user pain points, user journeys and main user needs. I helped the team take those insights from the workshop and work towards an innovative solution - resulting in a content management system that was the first of its kind in the industry.
The product we created was chosen out of ten other product designed that weekend to receive funding through StanleyX’s innovation program, and the company Dado was created. The product was so successful that Stanley Black & Decker chose to completely acquire Dado in 2022.
All deliverables are under NDA, but check out what the founders of Dado (formerly LinQ) had to say about their experience innovating with myself and the team at Mach49.
